Frozen Lemonade Pie

I love this easy, delicious pie in the spring or summer time!  And who doesn’t like a cold glass of lemonade in the summer?  Well, this pie tastes like a glass of lemonade!  It’s a great dessert to make ahead because you can just keep it in the freezer and slice it when you are ready to serve.  I really love to do as much as possible in advance when I’m entertaining.  It helps me be able to relax and just enjoy the time with my guests.  This pie  couldn’t be any easier to make, which is even better!

This is all you need.  SO SIMPLE.  I even bought a graham cracker crust pre made for today to make it even simpler.  If you want to make your own graham cracker crust, it’s super easy as well.  Just crush up some graham crackers until you have about 1 1/2 cups.  Mix them with 1/3 cup of sugar and then melt 6 T of butter and add it to the crumb mixture and press it into a pie pan.

My original recipe for this pie called for Cool Whip, but I just like the taste of making my own whipped cream so much more and it’s not hard to make, so to me it’s worth that effort.  So, I mixed the whipped cream I had made (about 12 oz), 6 oz of lemonade concentrate (thawed out), and a can of sweetened condensed milk.

That’s it.  For real.  Just put it into the pie crust and put it in the freezer.
